Lehigh University’s Parking Services Department recently announced the addition of three new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on its campus. Each station is a dual-point port, allowing two vehicles to charge simultaneously.
The EV stations are located in parking facilities across the Lehigh campus, including:
- Farrington Square Parking Garage, Level 1
- Zoellner Parking Garage, Level 1
- Iacocca Hall Parking Lot 901
These stations are an addition to the existing EV locations already located in the Alumni Building Parking Pavilion. The university had previously installed stations in this facility
in the Spring of 2018.
The addition of these stations is another example of the university supporting its mission to create a more sustainable campus. Further, it provides a valuable benefit to the students, faculty, and visitors who drive electric vehicles to and from campus.
The new stations were made possible by a grant rebate program under the Driving PA Forward – Level 2 EV Charging Rebate Program. The program is managed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Grants Center.
Congratulations to Lehigh University on this great sustainability initiative!
