In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philadelphia Parking Authority has partnered with numerous industry leaders throughout Pennsylvania and beyond to launch the Clean Driver Program. Developed by CurbTrac, a technology innovator in the parking and mobility industries, and in partnership with ParkMobile, ParkOps, and Ballparc, the Clean Driver Program provides turn-key solutions for Transportation Network Companies (TNC), taxi companies, food delivery service providers, and corporate fleets to keep drivers and customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic through PPE distribution sites and automotive sanitation services.
The Clean Driver Program pilot launched in Philadelphia on April 29, 2020, and is made possible through the combined efforts and teamwork of numerous parking and mobility technology partners. In the first week, CurbTrac distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to food delivery drivers, courtesy of Grubhub. The Philadelphia Parking Authority provided the space for the distribution site.
